Guided Fishing Experiences
Spend the day on the water with our knowledgeable local guides who provide the gear, tackle, and expertise. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned fisher person, we can bring you to one of many lakes and rivers to cast or fly fish for lake trout, speckled trout, bass, pike or or walleye, all while enjoying a relaxed, well-supported fishing experience. Learn from local Anishinaabe guides, artists and facilitators who share their knowledge of how we can all be in relation with the plants, animals, and people of the place currently known as Algoma. Algoma has a rich community of artists, artisans and makers. Let us connect you with local artists and makers who guide you through painting, textile arts, creative writing, and more. Studio visits and custom workshops can be arranged for your group, with pricing varying by experience and instructor.

Guided Paddling Experiences
Explore Chub Lake and Jobamageeshig Lake from our resort, or travel to one of the many beautiful nearby lakes, rivers, and streams with certified instructors who know the region well. Tours can be arranged using your own canoe or kayak, or with equipment provided by the resort, creating a relaxed and accessible day on the water.

Yoga & Wellness
Local yoga instructors offer welcoming group sessions focused on gentle movement and meditation for all levels, held in our bright, spacious Gathering Place with views of the forest and lake. Reiki and gentle massage can also be arranged, with pricing varying by service.

Ice Fishing Experience
Set yourself up for a day of winter fun on the frozen lake with our ice fishing rental packages. We can provide ice fishing guides for the beginner to the expert fisher person, including all necessary equipment and the rental of our cute, bright and cozy ice hut. Fish Chub Lake for lake trout or nearby lakes for a variety of species.
